Diversity in Leadership Scholarship

The multiyear scholarship (up to $25,000) was created to support underrepresented and diverse Oregon high school graduates pursuing higher education in-state. Awards may be used to attend a range of Oregon institutions, including apprenticeships, trade schools, community colleges, colleges or universities. We’ve deliberately left the criteria fairly general (incoming Freshman, Oregon resident, and going to an Oregon school) to encourage students from a wide variety of backgrounds to apply. Stay tuned for 2022 Scholarship Opportunities.

Administrator Diversity Scholarships and License Reimbursements

The Educator Advancement Council and the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) are pleased to offer two opportunities for diverse educators to receive financial assistance with expenses. These funds are intended to support and increase the number of diverse educators in Oregon. Stay Tuned for 2022 Scholarship opportunities.

The Pathways in Education Program provides successful candidates with tuition scholarships ranging between $2,500 and $15,000 to attend Bushnell University, University of Oregon, Pacific University, or Lane Community College. The Pathways in Education program is designed to address this persistent issue by producing and supporting effective teachers who mirror the diversity of students in our classrooms. Stay Tuned for the 2022 Application December 2021.
